HPE CLOTHING - SPORTS GOES WILD.



A few months back I got introduced to a new a sports brand HPE which stands for Human Performance Egineering. Nick Harris is the founder of HPE clothing brand. The work that goes into the clothing is a combination of advanced fabric technology, thoughtful tailoring and stylish design to withstand the rigors of intensive training. Also worthy of mention that Nick has worked closely with leading sportsmen in Formula 1 World Champions, Grand slam winning tennis players and golfers.

On a closer look at the clothing, you could feel the quality and texture of the clothing material. The collection are for both men and women. I was dlighted to use some of the pieces for an exclusive editorial for  ROUGH Magazine www.rough-online.com a publication of which I am the editor at large and managing editor. It's the young, fresh and stylish faces chosen by Replay to head their Fall/Winter 2012 - 2013 campaign. Emily Di Donato and Miles Macmillian are the new unique protagonists for the F/W 12-13 advertising campaign.

Thierry Le Goues, the talented French photographer who in 2000 was the brain behind the memorable Replay campaign has successfully come up yet again with another up-to -date stylish 2012-2013 fall/winter campaign for Replay.
The blue/indigo tone of the collection pop out more due to Thierry's use of classic dark background which gives way to a new colour and the warm brown goes well with the denim. This advertising campaign will be hitting 35 countries across the globe. It's the Replay thing! Go!

LACSOTE 1972 TRIBUTE COLLECTION



The tribute  first introduced in AW 2011 to celebrate the iconic years in Rene Lacoste illustrious that established the reputation and nick name of the crocodile.


Summer 2012 sees the brand celebrate the year 1927 with a range of shoes infused with the sporting elegance of the era.


Fondly nicknamed 'Le crocodile'. Rene Lacoste was tenacious on the court , passionate and meticulous in his style. A tennis champion of the 1920s, he dominated the tournaments around the world, winning the titles at Wimbeldon, The Us Open and The French Open - The scene of his first Grand Slam win, at 20.


The tribute collection is the product of careful design and thoughtful detail. The tongue tab on each shoe features seven stars, which are filled in as a reference to Rene grand slam victories. Inside the tab, the specific year is embroidered.

ENERGIE KICK START THEIR AW 12 'MAKE NOISE' CAMPAIGN WITH UK INDIE ROCK BAND 'RUBBER KISS GOODBYE'









For their AW12 collection, Italian menswear brand Energie has captured the
urban feel of the brand with a new campaign titled 'Make Noise' fronted by
UK band Rubber Kiss Goodbye.

The Energie Make Noise campaign previews in the brands anticipated AW12
collection, presenting a new means of expression through dress that is fully
reflective of Energie¹s identity to stand out from the crowd. The Make
Noise collection presents a mix of black and white urban-style graphic
t-shirts that are not for the faint hearted and a denim collection
synonymous with the cutting edge British indie scene.

Rubber Kiss Goodbye are proving to be one of the UK¹s hottest new bands
around, consisting of Tara Ferry, son of English singer, musician and
songwriter Bryan Ferry along with other band members Oliver and Peter.
Energie also appointed the Swedish photographer Alex Lindhal to follow the
band in their natural environment where they live and work, capturing their
every move. 



In turn resulting in a range of retro black and white campaign
shots reminiscent of backstage scenes of indie-rock groups on tour,

CAT stands for integrity, good quality and genuine authenticity. And this has transpired in their AW12 CAT apparel clothing range.

Graphic deigns featured in the CAT apparel AW12 is to embrace the spirit of the brand which started in the 1900s

A neutral colour palette, with pops of yellow, vintage wash and pigment dyes work together to capture this era in CAT history.
CAT has a true history and has really stood the test of times. Still here with us in this day.

Chasebondstyle had the opportunity to view the first ever collection at FORWARD PR AW12 press day at the academy building of AOFM on Dean Street. And also, it was a pleasure to hear Forward Pr had on board a men's brand. 


The fabric - finest wool and silk- used for the collection are made in England said Alexander Leimbach - Managing Director for EUPHORIK


 The clean shilloutte of the designs are achieved by a the simplicity of the cut hence the fluidity of style. EUPHORIK has the finest cut blazer, which is relaxed. The waist coat is another piece that defines the masculinity of a man. There is a verstility when it comes to the waist coat. One can envisage the female being adding that to their wardrobe. 


Another interesting piece is the trousers which can best be described as EUPHORIC drop crotch. It has this fluidity in texture making it very comfortable to wear. My adorance for this piece is the fact that, it does not conform to the stero-typical man's trousers which we all know.



Other pieces infused in the collection are the rocking slimmed line tops with over size hood.  that can be worn in different ways one chooses.

Chasebondstyle made to the Task Pr AW12 press day at The Music Room on 26 South Molton road to view what is going to set the pace this autumn winter 2012. 

Well, hands on heart, this Pr company - Task Pr - has really come far and all is due to their hard work and dedication.

Task Pr also treated us with some really healthy good food. My compliments to the chef  Arnaud who kept serving some mind blowing dishes. It was quality over quantity. Presentation of the dishes was spectacular. One could not resist. It's about healthy eating -  It's advisable. As it was pleasing to eyes so as it was palatable to the stomach. Pleasure!
A press day I solely enjoyed.
