New York Fashion Week - Alexander Wang Autumn/Winter 2010/11

'Ironic Luxury' is what Alexander Wang called his A/W11 collection. They are version of his extreme sportswear and that he delivered in palette of black, slivery grey, pale camel or blush.


Wang has a strong and convincing approach to design, always laced with a feisty sense of danger and dash, as in the boxing shorts with cummerbunds, the extreme-loafers glittering with neon-metallic and with an armour-like front, or the second-skin, perforated gloves.
