Chanel Spring 2011 Collection is a breath-taker. King Karl Largerfeild as I call him returned to Chanel's roots with variation of the tweet suit - namely mini culottes paired with a boxy blazers in a cool palette of pastels with a slight dose of sparkle. 

This I have to say is a classic Chanel at its best. I mean words can not be used to describe the collection. Chanel as a collection has always been classic and elegant to the feminine figure. I will let the photos speak for itself.

To celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the  J12, Chanel launches a nano version featuring a small dial of 29 millimeters. 

Since its creation all over the world, it has been very successful. 

This unisex watch is available in a variety of sizes. The original model is 38 millimeters, still a must have. The other two the chrono and marine are 41 and 42 millimeters. 

The highlight of it all is the new smallest J12 which has a stylist character to it and it is absolute object  of desire. The good thing is, it is not too flashy nor too discreet and very functional. The true essence of an investment buy.

The canali Spring 2011 collection brings back the elegance and the suaveness of the suit. Infusing that edge of the 50s and the 60s to modern tailoring. The Mad Men era in the 21st century.

The collection easily suits the younger and older man who knows about what style suits him.

The entire collection has its own unique qualities and at the same time being stylish with a sense of unity.

All time favorite show at fashion week. I am loving David Koma right now.

Inspiration for the David Koma Spring Summer 2011 collection began with a deep admiration for the Mariinsky theatre in Saint Petersburg.


He explores his past experience of the Russian Ballet, in particular Tchaikovsky's 'swan lake, which has inspired the contrasting perception of the ballerina- the physically and emotionally strong woman in a fragile frame.

David koma has uses python skin which he has deconstructed and positioned in a vertical, linear arrangements - inspired by the cubist artist Fernard Leger and his use of graphic lines and shadows to create a bold strong statement.

The David koma signature piece is the 50s inspired dress and the body conscious silhouette combined with a use of metal embellishment imitating python scales and strips of leather applique. 

Embossed leather, fine Italian wool, delicate chiffon and organza alongside python skin are some of the fabrics used in Spring Summer 2011 collection.


 Monochromatic black and white, with the infusion or powder yellow and pink, metallic gold and pearlescent snake leather embellishment. 

When it came to jewelry  Koma teamed up with a renowned jeweler Mawi creating exclusive geometric knuckle duster.

Exclusive shoes were designed by Alain Quilici to enhance the graphic concept of the collection.
